On our way back from a ride into town last night I came within three feet of hitting a deer. It was evening and visibility was waning. Did I mention I was riding my bike? The doe was grazing just off the bike trail and I spooked her into running into the woods. That would have been a very strange "I hit a deer" story!

Sorry, Lindsay but this deer shot is for illustrative purposes only. I actually took this photo at Jim's wedding outside the reception (on a golf course)!
