Simple Pleasures #1

Time to wash windows. A wonderful sunny October day. After running the squeegie over the last window I admired the sparkling surface and a bright, colorful image of fall colors reflected back at me. What a grand reward for doing a mundane autumn home maintenance job! I just had to share! I've always been a big believer in appreciating life's simple pleasures. Some days are tough and it's difficult to do this but those are the days we need it most. This one is called #1 because I intend to share more of them over time. Feel free to share yours!

You want us to share a sample of simple. Good idea.

The window looks very clean and shiny!

One of my favorite simple pleasures is taking out the garbage. I always like the feeling of getting rid of messy things.

A simple pleasure for me is walking everyday (possible).....feels good even in winter, maybe even better then. You can enjoy the clouds in the sky, colors on the trees, crispness of the cold, sunshine and all the while listening to music on my ipod!

A simple pleasure for me is folding the laundry. I take the basket upstairs after Maddie is asleep, turn on our little bedroom TV and fold like crazy. All that stuff is clean and fresh and tucked away just where it should be. A small accomplishment that has big results!

I love them! In this economy it's good to know we can appreciate the simple things (free). :)

This photo makes me wish my windows didn't have panes (what a pain that is...ha!)
